Fiberglass and gunite in-ground swimming pools can both be built beautifully, providing many years of enjoyment and relaxation. Although they have several differences, no one can claim one type is particularly better than the other. Both pools are fairly evenly matched in price. The choice you make comes down to yard configuration, pool design, and most importantly, personal preference.

A shell-only price reads low and helps nobody: it leaves out the work that turns a fiberglass shell into a pool you can swim in. So every figure we publish is the installed starting-at price, and here is what is already inside it.
What that price includes
Every price on this site is an installed starting-at price: the pool itself plus our standard installation, not a shell-only figure. It covers
- Excavation and standard site preparation
- Standard plumbing and filtration equipment
- Crane set and backfill
Site conditions, decking, fencing, heaters and other options are quoted with your build. The pool builder prices those as you choose them, and we confirm everything in writing before any work starts.
