Privacy policy
The short version
This is a static website. It sets no cookies of its own, and it loads nothing from an analytics or advertising company — not Google Analytics, not Google Ads, not a social media pixel, not anything else. That is true whichever answer you give the banner: accepting and declining load exactly the same site today.
We ask anyway, because the choice should already be yours the day we do add measurement.
The one thing we load without asking
The pool builder on our fiberglass pools page. It is our own application, served by SplashDown, the platform that runs this site, and it is what draws the pools and prices them. It loads when you open that page because it is the page's content, not a tracker. It keeps your build in the page's address so you can bookmark or share it, and it does not profile you.
Everything else here — text, photographs, fonts, the pool renders — is served from us. There is no Google Maps embed, no video player, no chat widget and no social media button on any page. Where we link to another company's site, such as directions on Google Maps, it is a plain link: nothing loads until you follow it.
If we add analytics later
If Acadiana Pools ever runs measurement on this site, it will load only for visitors who accepted, and only after they accepted. Nothing would load for anyone who declined or who never answered. We would name what it is on this page before it went live.
Your choice, and changing it
Your answer is stored in this browser only, under the name
sdk-consent, so that we do not ask again on every page. It is not sent
anywhere — not to us, not to anyone else — and there is nothing in it but the word
you chose and the date. Clearing your browser's storage clears it and we will ask
again.
You can change your mind at any time, from any page:
When you send us a message
The form on our contact page asks for your name, email address, phone number and whatever you want to tell us about your project. When it is taking requests, what you type is sent to the SplashDown platform that runs this site, stored there as your enquiry, and passed to us so we can answer it.
We use it to answer you about your pool and for nothing else: no newsletter, no mailing list, no advertising audience, and no sharing with anyone outside the people who would build or service your pool. Nothing you type is stored in your browser, and the form measures nothing about you.
You can always skip the form and call us on 337.332.1861 or email sales@acadianapools.com instead.
Children
This site is for people planning a swimming pool. We do not knowingly collect anything from children.
Asking us about any of this
Call us on 337.332.1861, email sales@acadianapools.com, or use the contact page, and tell us what you would like to know or would like removed.
